About The Jenna Druck Foundation
The Jenna Druck Foundation was established in 1996 by Dr. Ken Druck in honor of his remarkable daughter, Jenna, whom he lost in a tragic accident when she was just 21. The Foundation has assisted thousands of families worldwide who have experienced the loss of a loved one and has also provided leadership training to thousands of promising young women like Jenna was. 100% of the net proceeds from this event will support the Foundation and its two major programs:
“Families Helping Families”….turning grief into hope
Families Helping Families was created to serve people in their journey through grief, providing help and encouragement to families in their darkest and most difficult hours after the loss of a loved one, typically a child.
“Young Women’s Leadership”….turning strength into leadership
The Young Women’s Leadership Program provides world-class leadership training to teenaged girls from all walks of life throughout San Diego County. Its annual Leadership Conferences are attended by hundreds of young women and featuring keynote speakers on a broad range of topics that are highly relevant to young women in their developmental years.
Jenna Anne Druck (1975-1996)
Both these programs were inspired by the short but remarkable life of Jenna Druck, who was killed in a tragic bus accident in India while studying abroad at age 21. Jenna not only loved life, she embraced it with every fiber of her being. She was filled with boundless energy and enthusiasm, and had compiled an impressive resume of accomplishments during her time on Earth. Her spirit lives on through the works of The Jenna Druck Foundation.
